Protect Customers: Elevate Web Application Security

Posted on in Presentations

With a surge in client side attacks on the web, enterprises are inadequately equipped at defending themselves. This hands-on technical lab will explore these new age attacks using real-world samples and the defenses that can be built to better protect enterprise websites and web applications. This session will follow Chatham House Rule to allow for free exchange of information and learning. We look forward to participants actively engaging in the discussion and remind attendees that no comment attribution or recording of any sort should take place. This is a capacity-controlled session. If added to your schedule and your availability changes, please remove this session from your schedule to allow others to participate.

In order to participate in this lab, you will need to bring your own fully charged laptop with Docker Engine (v18 or above, visit https://docs.docker.com/engine/install/ for installation instructions) installed on your device that supports Linux containers. This lab will primarily be conducted through a custom Ubuntu Docker container and participants are required to have Unix shell / terminal access in order to perform the lab exercises. All participants (especially Windows Docker Users) please confirm that you are able to run an Ubuntu:18 container through your Docker engine prior to the lab.
